    We do the numbers.

Your figures are normalised to maintainable earnings, matched to the right industry multiple, and checked against similar businesses for sale near you.

06Good to know

A few thingsworth asking.

Big decisions come with questions. Here are the ones owners ask first.

Selling in Victoria? Our sister brokerage Vic Brokers can market and sell your business for you.
01Is this a formal valuation?

No. It's an indicative appraisal: an estimate based on your figures, published industry sale multiples and comparable listings. For finance, family law or tax purposes you'll need a formal valuation from a qualified valuer.

02Where do the comparables come from?

Businesses currently listed on major Australian business-for-sale sites, matched to your business type and price range. When your state has too few, we include interstate listings and mark them clearly.

03Will you sell my business for me?

No. AUS Brokers prepares reports — we don't act for buyers or sellers, so you stay in control of your sale. In Victoria, Vic Brokers can sell it for you if you'd like.

04What do I need to upload?

At least your latest profit & loss. The lease, staff roster and earlier years' accounts make the appraisal sharper.

05What kinds of businesses can I appraise?

Most small and medium businesses: cafés and restaurants, retail, trades, services, health and more — over 80 business types.

06Can I change the wording?

Yes. You can edit the report text and add photos of the business before you download.
